Lifting the lid on Kids Under Cover
Where would you sleep if you did not have a home to go to? What if you had no job, no money and no-one to turn to for help? This is the reality faced by over 7000 young Victorians every night. They are simply not equipped to survive on the streets. Enter Kids Under Cover.
Kids Under Cover is a National charity dedicated to providing housing solutions to young people on the verge of homelessness. Its mission is to see that every young person has access to a safe, secure home and a sound education, and the staff work tirelessly to make this a reality.
Things have come a long way since Kids Under Cover erected their first bungalow in Box Hill back in 1990. They have helped to transform the lives of over 2000 young people in unfortunate situations by providing them with shelter and opportunities. Kids Under Cover continues to grow and has established itself as a driving force in the fight against youth homelessness
Hocking Stuart Managing Director Nigel O’Neil is proud to announce the commencement of a charity partnership between Hocking Stuart and Kids Under Cover. “As real estate professionals, we are in the business of helping people find new homes. Now we’re using our expertise to benefit the community and help these kids put a roof over their heads and get a good education.
